LONDON, 1 March 2018 – Spire Partners LLP (“Spire”) has been voted CLO Manager of the Year, Europe in the recently published Private Debt Investor (“PDI”) 2017 Awards.
The PDI Awards aim to recognise the contributions of various industry participants to the development of private debt as an asset class. The judging process was a combination of editorial shortlisting and industry voting for the final winners. More information on the methodology of the awards can be found on PDI’s website (www.privatedebtinvestor.com).
Commenting on the award, Jonathan Russell, Managing Partner, said “We are delighted to receive this award for a second year in succession, and are grateful to our investors, partners and other market counter-parties for their continued support.”
Spire was one of four managers to be shortlisted for the award due to the strong performance of its three existing CLOs, and the opening of a warehouse for Aurium CLO IV DAC in June 2017.
Spire was previously awarded CLO Manager of the Year, Europe by PDI in their 2016 awards.
